Our gifted services are for students who have mastered the regular curriculum and need more advanced study. Referral forms may be picked up in any school office. 🎤 A Powerful Message at Malvern School District 🎤 Today was an incredibly special day for our Malvern Leopards as we welcomed Michael DeLeon and Steered Straight presents: Straight Talk to our campus. 🏫✨ Michael DeLeon—an accomplished author, documentary filmmaker, and creator of the hit series Beyond Scared Straight—shared his powerful life story with our students, focusing on the dangers of substance abuse. His message was eye-opening, inspiring, and a reminder of the choices that shape our future. One of the highlights of the day was the “Escape the Vape” drop-box, where a few brave, unnamed students made the decision to turn in their vapes—taking a step toward a healthier path. He even went the extra mile after his presentation and spoke with students in the lunch room, listening to their stories, and even taking a few more vapes off campus with him. 💪🚭 We are so grateful for the impact Michael and Steered Straight had on our students today. It truly was remarkable. He shared his life story with us about how he was led to do this work, and he genuinely cares about helping others learn from mistakes.
