🎉 Congratulations to our Malvern High School students for earning the prestigious Arkansas Seal of Biliteracy! 🎉
A huge shoutout to Valeria Moguel, Julissa Ruiz, Kimberly Valdivia, and Jessica Valdivia for demonstrating outstanding proficiency in two or more languages! 🌟
The Arkansas Seal of Biliteracy recognizes students for their bilingual skills, a certification that not only celebrates their dedication but also opens doors to future opportunities in college admissions and the job market.
🏅 Since 2017, over 6,000 Arkansas high school students from 108 schools have received this recognition, showcasing proficiency in 32 languages other than English.
This remarkable achievement is made possible through AFLTA (Arkansas Foreign Language Teachers Association) and ARKTESOL (Arkansas Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages), with the support of educators, university faculty, and the community.

🇺🇸 We had a wonderful Veterans Day celebration! 🇺🇸
Yesterday’s Veterans Day Motorcade and Luncheon was a heartwarming success, thanks to Ms. Angela Green and her LSC class at Wilson Intermediate School! The students went above and beyond, serving our veterans at their seats and sharing gift bags filled with goodies to say “Thank You” in a special way. It was a joy to see these young volunteers bring smiles to everyone with their kindness and appreciation. Thanks to Malvern High School's Leopard Battalion for the wonderful support and salutes at the court house in preparation for the parade.
To all our veterans—thank you for your service, and to our students, thank you for showing them how much they mean to our community! 💙❤️ #VeteransDay #ThankYou

📚✨ Little authors in action! ✨📚
In Mrs. Childs’ first-grade class, students are taking center stage—literally! 🎤 They’re presenting their very own narrative compositions, practicing essential writing skills like crafting topic sentences, using transitional words, and wrapping up their stories. It’s so inspiring to see these young storytellers in action, building confidence and creativity as they share their work with classmates. Way to go, future authors! 📝👏

🚨 Wrestling fans, we've got a season schedule for you! 🚨
Here is our 2024-2025 season schedule for Leopard Wrestling! As you know, this is the first year we have ever had a wrestling team at Malvern School District. Wrestling has become the fastest growing sport in the nation, and it is finally beginning to spread its roots through our local area. We invite you to come to these wrestling meets if you can so you can support our first year team. Many of our opponents have established programs with experienced wrestlers, and we are happy to join with our new team! We are honored to have these Leopards usher in a new era of wrestling.
Our first wrestling meet is on December 3rd at Bauxite. This is 5 weeks away as of today! It's a quad, which means we will be one of 4 teams competing, so each wrestler present will get 3 matches at this event.
Share this post if you like, and we hope to see you cheering on our first-year wrestlers at an event soon!
