Today, we want to extend a well-deserved congratulations to our incredibly talented Malvern Leopard Golf team! 🎉 They recently competed in the 7-4A District Tournament and did a fantastic job! Lainee Burnett qualified as an individual and earned All-Conference honors. Carter Pulley not only qualified as an individual and All-Conference but also emerged as our District Champion! Congratulations to both of them, and to all the Leopard Golfers who have excelled this season! It’s been an exciting journey, and they’ve shown great determination and skill, backed by a dedicated coaching staff. Thanks to the vision and bravery of our Founding Fathers, the Constitution protects these freedoms for all of us. Their work serves as a powerful reminder of just how fortunate we are to live in the United States, where these liberties shape our daily lives. With an impressive turnout of athletes and some fantastic performances already under their belts, we just wanted to share how proud we are of them! 🎉 Exciting News! 🎉 Malvern Middle School’s very own ELA teacher, Claudine James, has been honored with the prestigious 2023-2024 Bessie B. Moore Award for Excellence in Teaching Economics! 🏆✨ Her innovative project, “Family Careers and the Economy: Integration of Economics With Creative Writing,” took learning to the next level by blending economics with creative writing. This cross-curricular approach helped students explore the economic impact of their family members’ careers, making economics relevant and engaging. Named after the pioneering advocate for economic education, Bessie B. Moore, this award celebrates teachers who go above and beyond in bringing economic literacy to life in the classroom.
