Malvern High School earned a Growth Award for being in the Top 6-10% Growth/Graduation Rates statewide and was awarded $27,221!
The Arkansas Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) is distributing $6,999,874 to 174 schools across the state, and this recognition highlights the dedication and hard work of our students, staff, and community as we continue striving for Passion, Pride, and Excellence every day.
A committee of principals, teachers, and parents will determine the best use of these funds to support and enhance student success at Malvern High School.

🎖️ Annual JROTC Drill Meet Recap 🎖️
This past weekend, our JROTC Leopard Battalion proudly hosted its Annual JROTC Drill Meet—a friendly and exciting competition bringing together JROTC programs from across the state, right here at Malvern High School!
Programs competed in military-styled workouts, drill, and color guard, with grades given for each event and trophies awarded to the top 3 teams and individuals. Congratulations to our Malvern JROTC Leopard Battalion, who took home 3rd Place in Male Color Guard! 🏆👏
Despite the chilly weather, the day was filled with camaraderie, fun, and great competition. Students had a fantastic time connecting with peers from across Arkansas while getting in a solid workout.
Thank you to all the schools who participated, and a big thank you to our incredible Leopard Battalion for hosting such a successful event. 🐾

If you live on Thomas-Hanley or Sand Road you need to meet the bus at the intersection of Thomas-Hanley and Sand Road at 6:35.
Bus 42
If you live on Leau Fraiz road your stop will be at the Fire Station on Hwy 222 and Landers Road at 7:00 am and Drop off for the afternoon will be 4:10pm.
Bus 4
If you live on the dirt part of Ridge Road your stop will be at Ridge Road and Whiskey Trail at 6:40am.
Bus 46
If you live on Hixon Loop your stop will be at Hixon Loop and Hwy 67 across from Lower Etta Road pick up time 7:00am.

We will be starting classes at normal times tomorrow. However, there will be a few alternate bus routes.
Due to snow and ice, the following alternate bus routes will be in effect at the start and end of the school day:
Bus 24:
If you live on Thomas-Hanley or Sand Road, meet the bus at the intersection of Thomas-Hanley and Sand Road at 6:35 AM.
If you live on Babcock, meet the bus at the intersection of Nix and Sand Road at 6:40 AM.
If you live on Mt. Willow or Young, meet the bus at the intersection of Young and North Banks at 7:05 AM.
Bus 42:
Morning pickup for Leau Fraiz Road will be at the Fire Station on Hwy 222 and Landers Road at 7:00 AM.
Afternoon drop-off will be at the same location at 4:10 PM.

The Malvern School District will open one hour late on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. Bus 24 will use alternate stops for the following streets. If you do not feel comfortable or can't get your child to the alternate location, we understand that you are making the best decision for your situation.

If you live on Babcock, you need to meet the bus at the junction of Nix and Sand Road at 7:40. If you live on Mount Willow or Young, you need to meet at the corner of Young and North Banks at 8:05.
